Beddmanarch–Cymyran SSSI is a site of special scientific interest on Anglesey extending to just over 90 Ha. It was first notified in 1961 for its coastal botanical and ornithological interest〔(Countryside Council for Wales: Beddmanarch–Cymyran SSSI designation )〕 It comprises the area of coastal salt-marshes. mud-flats and shallow coastal water lying between Holy Island and the mainland of Anglesey It supports many coastal birds and is especially important for migratory and overwintering populations especially of ringed plover, greenshank, red-breasted merganser and goldeneye. Salt-marsh exists around most of the area which includes all three British species of ''Zostera''. In addition to many relatively common salt-marsh species ''Inula crithmoides'' is also found. The unusual habitat; coastal dune heath ;is present at both Traeth y Gribin and at Cymyran. ==References== 〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Beddmanarch–Cymyran SSSI」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
